With effect from 1 April 2013, all Visa and Passport applications submitted at VFS India Passport & Visa Services, Bangkok will be returned through EMS (Thai Post), to your doorstep. In addition to the above with effect from 1 June 2013, all Visa and Passport applications submitted at VFS India Passport & Visa Services, Bangkok will be updated with the application status update via SMS. From 7 July 2013, VFS India Passport & Visa Application Centre will not be operational. The above arrangement is in order to provide effective delivery service until our last day of operations which is 6 July 2013. The India Visa Application Centre is officially authorized by the Embassy of India, Bangkok, Thailand to accept applications for all categories of visas, collect visa application charges and returning passports to applicants. In addition, the India Visa Application Centre schedules interviews as required by the Embassy.

The India Visa Application Centre is run and managed by VFS (Thailand) Ltd. VFS provides the visa application support service only. Staff members of VFS have no power or influence over the outcome of an application. The decision to issue or refuse a visa is made solely by the officers at the Embassy of India. VFS's role is entirely impartial. VFS staff will provide the visa information but they cannot and will not offer personalised advice.

Step 1 :	Check your purpose of travel Once you decide your purpose of travel you should follow the steps below. You are advised to read through the application steps set out below before you make your visa application so that you are clear about the procedure and requirements. Please ensure the duration requested covers your travel plans. Visa validity starts from the date it is issued so it is advised to plan your travel dates accordingly.
Step 2 :	Complete your Online Visa Application Form and prepare your documents You should submit 1 visa application for each individual applying for a visa. Complete your Visa Application Form online and submit all the relevant documents. Please note that handwritten or typed forms are not accepted any more. Incomplete visa forms/insufficient/false documents may result in visa rejection or possible delay. Please refer to the ABOUT YOUR VISAS menu for more details.
Step 3 :	Prepare your visa application fee Please keep your visa fees and other payments ready before you proceed to the application centre.
Step 4 :	Visit the visa application centre Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the visa application centre. If you wish you may also courier your application to the Visa Application centre. Please refer to the menu additional services for further details
Step 5 :	Collect the decision on your visa application You will need the original visa submission receipt to collect your documents. A nominated person can also collect your documents on your behalf after the visa is being processed. Your nominated person will need to provide an authorised letter signed by you and proper proof of their identity. If you prefer you can have your documents returned to you by courier service.. If you are issued a visa, you should ensure that: Your personal details are correct. it correctly states the purpose for which you want to come to the India, and it is valid for the date on which you want to travel. If you think there is anything wrong with your visa, please contact the visa application centre immediately.
