The India Visa Application Centre is officially authorized by the
Embassy of India, Bangkok, Thailand to accept applications for all
categories of visas, collect visa application charges and returning
passports to applicants. In addition, the India Visa Application Centre
schedules interviews as required by the Embassy.
Please note there is no change in the Indian immigration rules. All
applications will be assessed and decided by the visa and immigration
office at the India Embassy Bangkok, in accordance with the Indian
immigration legislation and policy.
The India Visa Application Centre is run and managed by VFS (Thailand)
Ltd. VFS provides the visa application support service only. Staff
members of VFS have no power or influence over the outcome of an application.
The decision to issue or refuse a visa is made solely by the officers
at the Embassy of India. VFS's role is entirely impartial. VFS staff
will provide the visa information but they cannot and will not offer
immigration advice.
It remains our commitment to ensure the integrity of our visa process.
Any applicant submitting false documentation or other information
in support of their application may be refused a visa and the matter
maybe referred to the local authorities.

Travel Advisory For India in wake of
spread of Swine Flu
To ensure public safety, all travelers flying into India from the
countries affected with Swine Flu (AH1N1) would be individually checked for flu
symptoms - like fever and upper respiratory tract infection at the airport. All
passengers arriving from the affected countries will especially be tested as the
killer virus spread across the world. Health officials may also visit the local
addresses of the passengers for complete check-up if so required. In case any passenger
shows symptoms, he/she would be initially sent to quarantine centre at the international
airport.
In case, people traveled from the affected countries, show symptoms of influenza
like fever, cough or sore throat, diarrhea, vomiting and difficulty in breathing
