Return of Passports

You may choose to have your passport returned by courier. Additional charges will apply for the same. Passports will be returned to the same GDA courier centre and you must present the Airway Bill Receipt to collect your passport.

Online Passport Tracking

It is recommended to check the status of the passport on the website hyperlink before coming to collect the same at the India Visa Application Centre. The Embassy of India, Bangkok normally takes a few number of days to consider applications. In addition, should the Embassy require an applicant to attend an interview, the India Visa Application centre will contact the applicant and inform the date and time of the interview accordingly

Collection of Passports

Passports may be collected from the India Visa Application Centre or you may also choose to have it returned through courier by paying additional courier charges at the time of submitting the application.

Note: It is suggested to the check status of the application only after the processing time stated in the documentation list has elapsed.

Collection at IVAC

Applicants who wish to collect their passport at the India Visa Application centre will need to produce:

1. Original receipt issued at the application centre at the time of submission.
2. Data page of the passport with the VFS stamp

Note: If applicants wish to assign a second person to collect the passport on their behalf, the authorized person needs to produce:

1. Original receipt issued at the application centre at the time of submission
2. Data page of the passport with the VFS stamp
3. Letter of authorization from the principle applicant.
4. Photocopy of the ID card of the authorized person.

Passport Collection: Monday - Friday 1500hrs - 1630hrs (except holidays)

Courier Collection

Applicants may choose to have their passports couriered to the closest collection centre at the time of submission of the application by paying a nominal additional charge.

Note: All Charges must be paid at the time of submission

Upcountry locations: THB 310 (Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Samutsakorn, Phuket and outskirts of Bangkok)
North Eastern areas of Thailand (Udonthani): THB 440
